HTSE (High Tech Self Energized), is a collection of self energizing light powered watches from Titan. These watches have a unique and unprecedented ability of being charged by any source of light upward of 200 lux power, ranging from sunlight to a candle flame.
Targeted at the young urban male this watch is called 'Skypower', is inspired by the various elements of a solar powered space shuttle. All the design elements of the watch have a functional justification, be it a perforated dial or skeletal hands. The skeletal structure allows the dial to transmit light inside the movement.
Designing this watch was as much mathematics as art. Multiple lumen calculations have defined printing thickness to the final position of various design elements
This neo futuristic watch merges style with technology, marks a distinct departure from the customary classic & fashion offerings from Titan. Inspired by the most complex self energizing space stations & the space crafts, this watch is distinguished by the case contours in anthracite colors & the multilayered perforated dials.
Every element of the watch stems from utility, be it perforated dial or skeletal hands. it is designed to give at least 33 percent transparency to charge solar battery sitting beneath the dial.
